Wow. It is great out there! This is actaully a short report because everything was so nice. Not many pictures either, too busy enjoying the skiing. Saturday, packed powder was a reality at Hunter. (Not the ice they normally call packed powder.) Riders and skiers were ripping it up everywhere! Sunday and Monday were VERY good. Annapurna opened with fresh man made and 44 was weird snow, edgeable and soft, but dense (just my opinion.) Plenty of sliders on 44. Ike was another sweet run with piles of fresh man made.The cold has preserved the snow well in bc areas. Bottom line, it is sweet on the mountain, so enjoy! |
